Delta-Q was founded to bring positive change to the OEM battery charging industry through the introduction of discrete, high efficiency power conversion technologies.
As a result, more than a million electric vehicles and machines have been equipped with our compact and reliable QuiQ high frequency chargers. Delta-Q has become the supplier of
choice to many of the world’s leading manufacturers of golf cars, aerial work platforms, floor cleaners, as well as neighborhood electric vehicles, powersports and utility vehicles.

Ken has over 22 years of experience in the power electronics industry, having worked on the development and launch of several innovative power conversion product platforms. Prior to co-founding Delta-Q in 1999, Ken oversaw and co-led the development of high-efficiency, true sine wave DC-AC and bi-directional inverter/charger product lines for Statpower (now a subsidiary of Schneider Electric). Ken holds a Bachelor degree in marketing and finance from Simon Fraser University.LinkedIn
Sarah is a financial executive with over 15 years of experience in both private and public companies. Previously, she held the CFO position at Welco Lumber Corp., a lumber commodity and specialty product distributor. Sarah was also Director, Finance at Xantrex, a TSX-listed manufacturer and marketer of raw electrical energy conversion products. Sarah is a Chartered Accountant and obtained her Bachelor of commerce degree from the University of British Columbia.LinkedIn
Herbert has more than 15 years experience in manufacturing, supply chain, plant and operations management in both industrial and automotive parts companies. Herbert has held a variety of roles including Plant Manager for Magna International and Group Director, Global Operations for Teleflex. Herbert has also worked with leading vehicle manufacturers as a lean manufacturing consultant, achieving manufacturing and organizational efficiency through process improvement.
Evan has over 20 years of experience in sales and marketing management. Evan joined Delta-Q in 2011 from A123 Systems, a lithium ion battery manufacturer, where he was VP, Global Sales. Evan has also held top sales positions in companies focused on GPS chip sets, semiconductor sensors and optical components. He has a track record of delivering significant revenue growth, both in North America and globally. Evan has a Bachelor of science degree in electrical engineering from Northeastern University.LinkedIn
Lloyd has over 18 years of experience in the power electronics manufacturing industry in sales, marketing, and product management. At Delta-Q, Lloyd’s responsibilities include future product definition, marketing, and the execution of product modifications for OEMs. Previously, Lloyd led Xantrex’s marketing and product strategy for their successful expansion into the industrial and residential renewable energy markets. Lloyd has a Bachelor degree in marketing and organizational behavior from Simon Fraser University.LinkedIn
Steve has more than 30 years of experience, including recent engineering leadership positions with Aurora Control Technologies and Sierra Wireless. Most recently at Aurora, Steve led the development of systems and hardware to streamline and improve the efficiency of photovoltaic and solar cell manufacturing. At Sierra Wireless, Steve was senior vice president of engineering, responsible for managing the company’s worldwide engineering group. Steve holds a bachelor of engineering degree from the University of British Columbia.LinkedIn
David is Managing Partner at Tandem Expansion Fund, co-founder of Marsulex Inc., Chemtrade Logistics Income Trust, and SPI Polyols Inc. He has repositioned companies to capitalize on changing market conditions, including mergers and acquisitions, public listings, raising private capital, and restructuring distressed or bankrupt companies.
Steve is a 30-year veteran of the information technology sector. He has held executive positions globally in early stage and large information technology companies, including President and CEO of Hitachi Data Systems. He is an active member of the Audit Committee Leadership Network, Society of Broadcast Engineers (SBE), and the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE).
David has extensive experience in the automotive industry, starting as a Production Foreman for General Motors before moving on to a variety of sales, marketing and planning roles at Magna International Inc., Meridian Technologies and Tesma International. In July 2003, he joined Tomkins as Executive Vice President and is currently in charge of corporate development.
John is the Fund Manager for Velo Fund, an early stage venture fund. John spent nearly 20 years at Glenayre Electronics in a variety of management roles related to product development and R&D. During this period, Glenayre became the largest technology company in British Columbia, with annual sales in the wireless group of U.S.$430 million.

Based in Shenzhen, China, the Product Engineer acts as liaison between Engineering in Canada and manufacturing in China with the mandate of supporting the seamless transition of product from design, through production and to the customer.
