The QuiQ-dci Series of Battery Chargers with Integrated DC-DC Converter are currently available in 48 and 72 volt models, providing tremendous benefits to the electric vehicle OEM. System cost reductions can be achieved by packaging two previously separate components in one unit.
Designed for Onboard Use
The QuiQ-dci is specifically built for onboard operation in harsh automotive environments. Rugged, lightweight and intelligent design provides continuous operation in any application. High efficiency power conversion allows the QuiQ-dci to offer 1 kiloWatt of charging and 400 Watts of DC power in the same fully sealed enclosure. Reliability is increased by the reduction of moving parts and cable interconnections.
Universal Input
QuiQ-dci is designed with a wide input voltage range from 85 – 265 VAC, making it an ideal choice for any worldwide application. Power Factor Correction and 12A maximum current draw ensures the charger will work reliably from any power outlet in the world, even through utility surges and sags.
The isolated 400 Watt DC-DC converter provides clean, continuous power from your 48V or 72V battery pack, without taking any more valuable space.
System Cost Reduction
Replace two separate components with the QuiQ-dci, and take advantage of space, weight, storage, inventory management, wiring harness, installation labor and field service savings.
The QuiQ-dci is that unique product that meets all the typical design constraints faced by the electric vehicle engineer.
Approved Charge Algorithms
The QuiQ-dci can store up to 10 Delta-Q-developed charge algorithms. Delta-Q has designed algorithms for many battery types, sizes and chemistries. Manufacturing and field service personnel can easily toggle between the loaded algorithms and are also able to download new algorithms into the charger “on the fly” using the QuiQTM Programmer.
Regulatory Compliance
The QuiQ-dci is UL and CE compliant and has passed stringent EMI, safety, vibration and water ingress protection (IP) tests. QuiQ-dci offers leading-edge efficiency, power factor correction and GFCI compatibility for safe and reliable operation.
