E-Z-GO, a Textron Inc. (NYSE:  TXT) company and leading manufacturer of golf cars and utility vehicles, introduced its PowerWise™ QE 36-Volt High Frequency Charger at the 2007 PGA Show in Orlando.  This lightweight model significantly reduces charging time and energy costs while helping courses generate added revenue.

Delta-Q has been supplying its industry leading QuiQTM to E-Z-GO for international production for over two years, and designed the PowerWise™ QE to meet the specific requirements of E-Z-GO’s North American customers. The new charger features single-unit, solid-state design and LED operation indicator, weighs a mere nine pounds, and reduces charging time by 15 percent or more. The PowerWise™ QE helps courses boost the bottom line through enhanced efficiency. Decreased charging time equates to added revenue through shortened turnaround times for golf car fleets. Lower operating costs allow courses to increase fleet sizes, producing incremental rounds and income. And the PowerWise™ QE can deliver energy savings of up to 30 percent.
