Evans and Ziccardi Promoted to Director Level
Appointments reflect contribution to company's tremendous growth
Burnaby, BC – July 15, 2005 - Ken Fielding, President and CEO of Delta-Q Technologies Corp., is pleased to announce the appointments of Stuart Evans to the position of Director of Sales and Tony Ziccardi to the position of Director of Sustaining Engineering. Evans and Ziccardi assume their new positions effective immediately.
Stuart Evans, formerly Sales Manager, has been with Delta-Q since early 2002, and has led the company’s sales efforts since that time. He has been instrumental in all of the OEM supply agreements signed since Delta-Q began commercial shipments in early 2003. Evans brings over 20 years of sales, business development, manufacturing and technical experience to his role, over half of it in the power electronics field. Over the coming months, he will be working to bolster the sales and marketing team at Delta-Q as the company expands its market penetration. “Stuart has contributed tremendously to the commercial success of Delta-Q, and I am pleased to announce his appointment as Director of Sales,” says Fielding.
Tony Ziccardi takes on the role of Manager of Sustaining Engineering from his position as Project Manager. According to Fielding, “This promotion reflects Tony’s ongoing efforts to improve our company’s processes for working with OEM customers, and our ability to respond quickly and effectively.” Concurrent with this promotion, Delta-Q has divided its engineering team in two in order to ensure that existing customers, integrated products and ongoing engineering projects receive dedicated attention. Ziccardi has 17 years of power electronics engineering, project management and staff management experience. He spent 16 years at Statpower Technologies and Xantrex before joining Delta-Q in September 2004. Ziccardi now heads up the Sustaining Engineering team, while Rob Cameron, CTO and Co-Founder, leads the Advanced Engineering team, focused on new power topologies, higher voltage and higher power platforms, and leading edge power electronics products.
