Integration
Our advanced power conversion process and design approach allows us to integrate previously separate electric drive system components into modular and even single-box solutions for the OEM. Total system cost is reduced in a number of ways. Hardware cost is reduced, as common parts such as power and control components, heat-sinks, wiring and packaging can be shared. Installation effort and cost is reduced, as is the cost of cabling to interconnect previously separate products. Inventory management costs are also saved, as item count is reduced. System reliability is improved through the reduction of multiple wiring connection points (generally the single largest failure area in vehicles). Total component weight is also reduced, improving vehicle efficiency.
